V70 2002 D5 heated seats

Hi,
I'm new here so first introducing myself.
I'm 55, self learned mechanic living in Northern Finland, doing mostly Volvo's but as it goes no one knows everything and you allways can learn new things and hope from here I can learn more and give allso help to others.
Now on the topic. I bought a V70 D5 without heated seats and thought I put them on myself. I have installet heaters, the box for them but I havent found out if they need to be programmed an if bthe need shunts and or relays into the cem. If possible be kind and give me info.

Heated seats needs to be activated via loading software.

We don't get the diesel models here in North America so we will have to hear from our EU members in this one.
