2004 V70 Remove tailgate inner panel

The latch release isn't opening my tailgate. As the first step in looking into the issue is removing the inner panel, while sitting in the rear of the car, I'd like to know the best way to get that panel off. Thank you.

Thanks for the document, but in reviewing it, I don't see instructions on removing the inside panel on the tailgate. I need to access the latch release mechanism.
