I have a strange problem with my '01 S80 T6 (UK model). When cold, it hunts like crazy, but if I stick it in D or R, the idle settles down. It hesitates at around 3000rpm, then comes in with a rush.
I've replaced the MAF, cleaned the ETM carefully, cleaned the crankcase breather box, but the problem persists. Some mornings it will start and tickover at a fast idle(as I presume it should), but the lack of power is still a nuisance. I'm too old to be a boy racer, but this old girl used to eat BMWs away from the lights!
Any help would be greatly appreciated, my already fragile ego needs re-inforcement!
