I emailed [email protected] with a help request on this, with a link to this thread.
They don't appear to have a Facebook page to press some good, old-fashioned social shaming/attention.

Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.
Also -> Amazon link. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

First sentence at the link posted by regent says, I quote:
"The number of counterfeits circulating on the market is rising, and both brake pads and brake discs unfortunately belong to the most frequently counterfeited vehicle components. This entails a high risk to safety, since the poor quality of the fakes also means less safety."
Being diligent is a good thing regent.

Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.

FCP, however, do have one, and I would expect them to chime in sooner than later as the supplier of this commodity: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo- ... 0-30665463matthew1 wrote:...They don't appear to have a Facebook page to press some good, old-fashioned social shaming/attention.

Have you tried to post the given code at ATE.de per the instructions on the bag?
What happened then?
Yes, despite the media having brainwashed most everyone under 40 thinking business is all done on the web, picking up the phone can be much faster.

...
This is what happens when you follow the instructions on the bag:
From http://www.ate-brakes.com/www/ate_de_en ... on_en.html
click on the "To CODE Qeery" thingy and you get the following "Sorry" response:
http://www.ate-brakes.com/www/servlet/s ... rm_en.html
...which was the reason for my initial post.
Thanks

That makes a lot of sense, instead of posting, I say let's all pickup the phone and switch to teleconference mode, this will make the forum lightning-fastabscate wrote:...despite the media having brainwashed most everyone under 40 thinking business is all done on the web, picking up the phone can be much faster.

I have a pair for 2001 V70XC front.
The ATE number on orange/white label matches with those engraved on metal connectors.

Did those come from FCP like mine did; I haven't been able to see even a close match on mine...
