01 V70 T5 no oil pressure light - intermitant

My indie will do it for 500 dollars but I think that's on the low end.

It's a tough job for a first time mechanic but if you are in a locale where we have a nearby Volvo buddy, it is doable

Parts are only 150 or so. It's important to get the right ones, no aftermarket crap.

I took the timing belt cover off today and the belt really don't have oil on it. It appears the issue is down further, I think I'm just going to have a local volvo shop look at it and go from there.

I took it to our local volvo shop to further diagnose, it's the variable valve timing hub on the exhaust cam
and at 131K the timing belt is over due.

Yikes. It is overdue by 4 years. When it breaks, it costs you 3000

Yes, back on the road now and no more oil lights, agreed the belt was way over due
