2004 XC90 T6 Knocking noise when moving on full lock

I have had a search of the topics but can't find the answer to this one.
XC90 T6 2004
Front left drive when steering is on full lock either left or right turn I am getting a constant speed related clicking/knocking sound as I pull away. Once in the dead ahead position the knocking clicking sound goes away. There is no sound if the vehicle is stationary on full lock. I think it might be the CV joint but wondered if anyone else had had the same noise and found the problem and cure. Thanks

Front bushings and a inner tie rod plus ball joints & a motor mount solved my issue.Mine was more of a groan and creak plus i was diving when braking which is also resolved.

I had a weird knock when turning, I figured it was the cv, but it I replaced the wheel bearing and it went away.

I had this problem. We replaced the left front axle and the problem went away. These years had problems with the trans leaking into the axle and mixing axle grease into the trans fluid. Have this checked and if there is any bit of doubt have the trans flushed. I wish I did. Our second trans went about 6 mos later.
