1999 Volvo S80 ABS Module Replaced ebay used.

Well here we go . Replaced ABS module used ebay . All part #s match up . I had the battery disconnect 3 days waiting for part . Started right up running perfect . Waited 10 min to warm up and went for the little drive for reset of how I drive or what ever it's doing . Same thing pops up ABS / Brake Triangle with car on right / Stop ASAP on left . Turned off car won't restart. Also tach & speedometer wet out during drive along with temp gauge. What do I go to next . I'm lost now . And poor to say the least .

Is there any way to disable this ? It runs beautiful then ABS Brake flash on ...... turn it off ..... No Start...
Brakes worked fine when I'm driving. Am I nuts ?

CEM can be your issue.

That was replaced about 8 months ago not by me .

The module or computer I call it ... under the kick panel and then one in the engine compartment by the radiator over flow .

It isn't the abs module, I'll tell you that much. Something else is causing the lights to come on.

I know the previous owner rewired the rear . It's got to be a short somewhere where the start point is baffles me . Maybe the 4 sensors on the wheels? I think I can do that one at a time being cost prevented for me . Any thoughts on that ?

It's quicker and less money to get a scan done to read the codes from the abs module.
