2004 s80 only geting 2 psi of boost at wide open throttle

hi i just got an s80 2.5t awd car runs really good new plugs and k&n filter wanted more so i got a boost gauge i installed the gauge getting the reading off manifold small nipple and all said and done i can get 2 psi at wide open throttle no matter what gear pulled and checked tcv and it works i used a 9v battery and some wire it clicks fast and lets air by replaced and no change . checked by hands the boost pipe and connections ( did not pressure test yet ) every thing looks good.

what psi should i be at and or how to get more?
