01 XC70 with that infamous P0236 and P0237!
So let me paint the picture for you. I try to pass some guy who wont let me in the lane so I accelerate fairly hard and all of a sudden the car starts to hesitate and my check engine light starts blinking. Scan the codes and I have P0303, P0236 & P0237. Changed the Map sensor and the turbo boost sensor that clip to the side of the airbox. still have the codes and still running poorly. What else can I look at, I tried looking for wiring diagrams online but only found a set for a 2003 xc70 but there wasn't even a 2001! I wish Bentley Publishers made a service manual for it! TIA

The P0303 is likely a bad coil on cylinder #3. The last "3" in that error code indicates cylinder #3. To test this theory, clear the error codes (or disconnect the battery for an hour if you don't have a code checker) and swap the coils on cylinder #3 and #2. Are you getting error coded P0302 now? Then, it's the coil....maybe you marked the one on cylinder 3 before you moved it, just so you didn't mix them up? IPD, Amazon, and your local parts place have the real Bosch coils. Should be $45 or less. Just got one in the mail, gets installed tomorrow.
