98 v70 which hose is this?

Hey folks. Trying to replace fuel pump by cutting out access panel. I accidentally cut a hose and I don't know what it is. In this picture I clipped the black hose that runs parallel with the green hose?

What hose is it? Can I fix with a repair kit?

I'm think I found out where it goes, still curious on what it is and the function.
On this picture I believe it is connecting to the 'canister' where it says from fuel tank in the bottom right corner. I'm hoping I can repair it wit a barb.

Sorry, but for the life of me I can't tell which hose you damaged. Can you clarify?

There are 2 hoses from the pump on the RHS of the tank as you show. The one to the left exiting the pump is the pipe that should go to the fuel filter, and then the filter to the engine.

The pipe to the right is the 'balancer' pipe that runs to the LHS of the tank and to the 'ejector' and fuel level for the LHS of the tank.

The 98 is a little different to the 00 that I have in terms of how it operates, and how the emissions work.

If I recall, the 98 has a feed from the fuel filter to the engine, and also a return pipe. The 00 I have has a single feed pipe and the return pipe is just for emissions and pressure balancing.

Sounds to me like you cut a line to the evap canister.

EVAP canister line can be fixed with fuel line and clamps. The pressure line probably needs flare and unions as its under 50 psi
