98 v70 xc leaky turbo

Post by Clockboy »

So I replaced the gasket and oring on the turbo return line. The oring side was clearly leaking. That worked out fine, but now the turbo is leaking. Not bad, but there. It always seems I plug one leak and then there is another - like the oil finds the weakest seal. I was running semi-synthetic oil and switched over to synthetic after the repair. I'm wondering if running semi again will lesson the leaks a bit.

It is like that on the top part, but it is leaking more where the air intake hose connects. Got some drips along the bottom edge of the intake hose.
