2005 s60 No heat on drivers side

Post by jaybee123 »

Hi, the drivers side ecc does not blow hot air. The passenger side works fine and the drivers side blows cold air fine. No error codes are displayed. Does anyone know what the possible cause could be? Thanks

Likely to be the actuators that control the flaps. The flaps control how much hot/cold air is vented/fanned into the car. Either the actuator/motor is kaput or a linkage may be broken or simply stuck.

Thanks for the response. Are these easy to access under the dash or does it require lots of disassembly?
