An issue today. The engine is cooperating with the new ECU. It seems the transmission does not.
The ECU is from a '98 T-5 Sedan. HPT.
I may have done a bad thing in not utilizing the TCU from the donor of the ECU?
Ideas?
Bottom line, the trans gave up.
It don't move.

I believe The trans issue had to do with not topping off the fluid after changing the radiator.
We have a large wind storm today so I will do A drain and fill, or two to get what I believe to be some burnt fluid cleaned out of the system. When the weather permits.

The trans seemed to have given out. I am thinking as a result of not making up for the lost fluid after changing the radiator.
After topping it off no help.
I drained and filled. The fluid was filthy. It tried to move for a bit then nothing again.
Repeated drain and fill still filthy, still nothing.
It had become cold, but I plan on repeating at least two more times before giving up but weather had not allowed.
Yesterday, swapped the battery with a fully charged unit but it was too late in the day to do another drain and fill. Soon.
Funny thing though, The fuel gauge was working again which was previously not.
Possibly the fully charged battery had brought it back to life?
