Yes, the Coolant Temp Sensor is well connected. That is not a problem for sure. It disintegrated and I had to rebuild the connector, and fabricate a holder for the pins.

The speedometer also dies occasionally on this issue, so I think it is more of a connection with the ECM. If reseating doesn't fix it, I'll be on the hunt for a broken wire.

Took it for a short drive, and all seems back to normal. Will attempt a longer one soon.
