I am working on a friends 2001 S80 T6 with 180,xxx miles on it. He left it at my place last night so I could change control arms on it today. It was cold overnight (in the teens). When I went to start the car it turned over ok but it would sputter as if it was not getting enough fuel. I worked at it for 5 minutes before it would finally start. When it did start I had to keep my foot on the pedal to keep it running - if I would let off it would nearly die. Once it was warmed up it ran perfectly.
It seems like the choke/enrichment circuit (whatever it is called) is not working properly.
Any constructive input would be appreciated!

Maybe the fuel pump is going, checking fuel pressure would be a first step
