Recommending Raybestos Professional Rotors

Brembo rotors are excellent but expensive. An excellent and much less expensive alternative is Raybestos Professional (available at RockAuto).

Rotors should always be replaced when pads are replaced. Turning rotors is difficult to do properly, and the removal of material reduces their ability to dissipate heat and thus stopping power.

(Rotors do not "warp", a common misconception. What happens is uneven wear, usually caused by improper installation or improper turning. Proper rotor installation is critical.)

Akebono Euro ceramic pads are excellent, highly recommended.
