Might be a vacuum leak or air flowcleak in your climate System? I wouldn't describe a hissing sound from my AC when it's on.

Removed the AC relay tonight...found something very odd in the relay terminal...what appears to be some kind of jumper wire - this can't be the right set up, is it?
Even when I pulled the relay, I got air conditioned air and the button for AC on the dash still turned on and off, but had no effect on the air, even with the relay removed, it's still on. Which makes me wonder a) if the relay is even any good and b) what will happen if I remove the jumper wire.
Thoughts??

Ugh. Electrical butchery. Let's get some wiring diagrams and get this sorted out

Update: I decided to remove the green jumper wire and see what happens. Well, the AC won't come on unless the button is pressed, so it seems that everything is normal, as even with the jumper wire removed the AC compressor does kick on when the AC button is pressed. And it cuts out when the button is turned off.
Based on the location of the jumper wire in the relay terminal, what did the intention seem to be; to make it always on purposefully?
I will keep the jumper out for now and see how the system functions in the coming weeks. But being that it's December AC isn't too much of a concern...
By the way, someone had suggested checking the compressor clutch gap, how do you do that?

Feeler gauge slipped into the gap between the clutch material and the pulley. If it's too big, search for ' bread clip, fix' and 'zip tie fix' to fix it in 5 minutes
