1998 V70 rough idle after PCV replacement

I've closed everything back up for the time being but will go out shortly and take a few more photos.

Here is what it looked like with the fuel rail off yesterday and before reinstalling the manifold bolts.

The fuel injector ports, I noticed, are dirty and there's a bit of fuel on the second one from left.

- The accordion plastic elbow btw the MAF and throttle: is it damaged?

- The throttle cosmetic cover basically covers the ICV area, can't see if it is in place. Remove the cover and inspect the ICV hose connection.
Double- and triple-check everything, use flash light, mirror etc.

The accordion plastic elbow between the MAF and throttle had a couple of 'dents' in it, but there's no hole or tear in there.

I'll get under the throttle cover and take more photos. Thanks again.

Here are a few more images.

Two things I should note: The ICV electrical connector retaining clip broke when I was removing it, but the plug fits OK. Just before I reassembled everything and started it, it was buzzing/vibrating. Upon trying to start it, the engine stalled, but at least there was no more of that wild idling like before. After taking the key out of the ignition, there was (again) that electrical buzzing coming from somewhere below the intake hoses, to the right of the engine block. I'll post videos later.

I'd take out the ICV and do a thorough cleaning with carb cleaner. Make sure the valve moves freely.

The wild fluctuation of the idle rpm is c/w air leak somewhere in the system. Check everywhere for air leak.

Also check the throttle plate for any gunk.

PS: The nipple connection on the pass side of the manifold: is it plugged in?

Even if it isn't connected it can't make a car to stall.

If everything was fine before pcv replacement...like you said...you messed something up.

Go back and re-check everything with one step at a time.

I will totally try taking out the ICV tomorrow and cleaning that out (as well as the other items). Hadn't thought of that. Fingers crossed.

The nipple connection to the PCV system on the passenger side of the manifold is plugged in. However, I wasn't supplied with a clamp for it (by FCP). I thought I noticed one there in their DIY video.
