95 850 GLT License Plate Brackets

Post by BlackyChan91 »

I was wondering if there were any different types of license plate brackets for the 850s... the metal ones that usually go on tend to rust quickly in northern NY... and at the moment my plates are zip tied bc I cant get the old screws out of the metal brackets...

Any ideas?

These are 20 year old cars. Time for a new bracket from the dealer or a used one from the JY. Put a little anti-seize on the threads.

1+,

Use Volvo OEM License Holder. About $16 at dealer.
Apply some antiseize on the nuts.
Actually I buy the M6 stainless steel nuts from local hardware store so they don't rust.
Then wash the car regularly, especially in the winter.
