Okay, I figured that.
Doing some paint cleaning today. Looks like I may need to repaint the driver side doors. Pictures to come...

A few pictures from yesterday...
Paint is pretty bad. I might be able to save the front door with a little more work, but the back door will definitely need a repaint. You can see the sanding marks from the previous owner's dent repair on the edge of the spray paint, at the middle of the door. The rear quarter panel may or may not need paint, but the trim around the trunk window will definitely need paint I had to use a razor blade on the back door where you can see the original paint. There was a VERY thick layer of spray paint on there. The guy obviously had no experience painting anything... it's pretty bad. I sanded it with 220, 550, 800, 1,000, and 1,500 grit (IIRC) with little change, also using a rotary buffer with Meguiar's Ultimate Compound. Some heavier compound wouldn't be a horrible idea.
Probably going to pick up some spot putty this weekend to fill in the light pitting on the hood and get that prepped for paint, and we're going to see if the paint store can get us Volvo 019.
With any luck, my poly motor mount bushing will get here this week from an MVS member, if he's shipped it yet (I'm hoping so). Oil filter and oil cooler o-ring (slight leak there) are on the way from FCP, as well, I'd like to get an oil change taken care of this weekend.

Find out approximate cost on paint. I have a black driver's door with a few scratches, but nothing as bad as that. If I can figure out a cost effective way to ship it [and package it up to avoid damage], (Greyhound freight?) you can have it for $50 plus shipping. I can shoot you a picture of it tomorrow if you'd like.

Fairly productive day. I replaced two of the three TCV hoses with new silicone hose. The hose going to the wastegate wasn't connected, in fact it was the hose that was plugged that I asked about a while back. Someone plugged the hose and capped the fitting on the wastegate. Maybe that's why my turbocharger sounded kind of funny...
Also installed my Harbor Freight boost gauge I picked up yesterday, and everything works great! I used mecheng's fantastic writeup. It took a little to find the pass-through under the dash, but once I did that, everything was very easy and straightforward. Really cool to be able to see the boost. I need to take it out on the road and test it further. :D
I also put in a few gallons of 89 octane, and the car already runs better. 6-8 month old gas isn't too good for an engine. It smells better, too. Still terrible, but better. I have a can of Chemtool to throw in when I fill her up a little more.

New gauge's temporary placement. I still need to run the wires to the dimmer switch.

Don't take this the wrong way but I wouldn't have put any money into that car. What I would've done is found another non running one for cheap or one that needed work and robbed parts. My last V70 I bought cost me $250, reconnected the negative battery cable, cleaned it, and sold it for $1700...
