Hmmm... okay well, I guess I will do my best to keep track of it. But just looking over the pink slip and the mileage on the car when I bought it, and the mileage on the car today... I'm guessing it is 5000mi. The service light must have been re-set just before I purchased the car. But I've used about 6000mi, since I bought the car, not much, yet kind of a lot for only having it just under 1yr. Anyway. Thanx for the input. Appreciate it. =)

Just a note, I know you guys have later models and need the tool but if you have a 93-95 850 you don't need the tool, it can be reset under the hood in A7.

Here are the instructions:

Totally cool, yes I saw that by looking at this site over the weekend, but mine is a 97. I dont know that you can do that on my model. When I took it to the dealer he did it thru the console inside the car.
Anyway .. needless to say I got it fixed then, now I've another leak, cant figure out where the leak is comming from and the check engine light is on again. I need to look at my chiltons. But the leak is under where the coolant reserve tank is, but I dont think it's coolant that's leaking.
My brake light comes on for a blink or 2 from time to time while driving, so I think this is legit..maybe my brake fluid is leaking this time, I dont know, but if anyone out there has any suggestions. It's kind of a clear, brownish, redish liquid, but then sometimes looks a bit green. Had to top of the coolant the other day. I'm really hoping it's a hose that's an easy fix. Thanx for the suggestion. When I found that info here on the site this weekend, I got excited. =)

I'd say it's the hose or maybe the water pump is leaking...you should get it checked out.... Wrong side of the car for brake fluid, so that's not it.

After my last post I checked the leak again, and it was pretty clear.
Okay so it may be the water pump. Easy fix you think. I mean somthing we can replace, or is there going to have to be a lot of removing of parts to get to it ? As long as there is coolant am I still good to be driving.
We're doing the brakes this weekend.

Not so bad...you'll have to take the belts (both) off to change it....www.fcpgroton.com sells 2 different models....I bought the more expensive Volvo brand but I've heard good things about the other less expensive one too....Just keep an eye on the coolant level until you get it fixed. If your Timing Belt is close to needing replacement, I would go ahead and change it while it's off.

Thanx MIJ ... my friend just got the news ....and he is not such a happy camper. After the radiator, and doing my brakes now, he says he's done.
See what I can do. =) Thank you so much for your help once again.
The reserve thank is still full... and temp gage is still mid point. Thankfully I dont drive much.

well, it's coolant that's leaking. Got a better look today and put a white piece of paper on top to check out the color better. Reserve tank still full.
Help...! nothing leaking from the radiator like it was before we put it in.
Could it still be a hose ? Or an easy fix at least ? The tank is not cracked cuase nothing is running from underneath it, or showing coolant spraying from reserve tank, plus its still full ??? Yikes !

still full is strange...temp is staying right too? Could be the residual coolant that was in the air dam that finally came through...just keep an eye on the coolant level and see if it continues to leak.

Well, it's comming out kind of like a small puddle, like as if I drove throught water and it's dripping off my car. I inspected the engine as much as I could tonight with a flash light and alone, and couldnt figure out where its comming from. We did the Radiator on March 17th, is it possible that it could still have residual from the air dam from back then ?
The temp is fine... some times takes a bit longer to get to mid point. Its not as quick as it used to be before we changed the radiator.
Tank still full. ?? But I still check it every morning just cause I'm paranoid now anyways... Okay well, thanx for the info. Hopefully its what you said.
Right after changing the radiator there was maybe a drop of two for like
the first 2 weeks, then it stopped, now in the last 2 weeks this.
Thanx !!
