Seeking advice and input from the experts....
I was doing a timing belt and water pump replacement a couple days ago and I took a look at the front engine mount, which is original to the car at 182K miles. Does this mount look worn out? If it is, I know I should get either Lemforder or Volvo blue box. What part number should I be looking for?
Thanks!

At 182k, I would suspect ALL engine mounts are worn and need to be replaced. But if you don't feel any unwanted vibrations, then leave the mounts alone.
FCP is running a sale, you'd want Hutchinson, Lemforder, or Corteco to get Volvo quality mount without paying the Volvo blue bag price.

It looks better than mine did at 115k, but I would still do it. The part has given you a good 19 years of service. I replaced all of my mounts when I did this job and used this kit.

And have had no problems... Parts been in my car for about a year and 8k miles. I don't expect them to last as long as original, but they don't have to since FCP has lifetime guarantee.

Not bad yet but old and sagging.
If you replace it, use Lemforder. PN 8631698 is about $75.
Rpsi has good photos of before and after so you know what it should look like...

The mount "looks" OK but it's hard to tell if the rubber is detached, but the CV boot is definitely torn and needs to be replace

Bad CV boot? How can you tell?RussB wrote:The mount "looks" OK but it's hard to tell if the rubber is detached, but the CV boot is definitely torn and needs to be replace
You can only see a small part of it.
To get a better idea of the condition of the mount,
Be sure that the car is well supported and get a jack
under the engine. Using something like a piece of 2x4
to help spread the weight under the oil pan, very slowly
lift the engine just enough to take the weight off of
the mount. If you see too much compression released
from the rubber, or if it separates, get a new one.

The greeny grease under tensioner from torn cv boot.
Either that or a slow leak from water pump weep hole.
From this point of view i would say water pump leak since lower part of timing belt cover is wet.
