The description of the product says an Aisin brand pump is what they include.

Yes, and the dealer is no cheaper while this is on sale, you have made a good move with that kit.

Just a quick update: I put the new belt, water pump, tensioner, and idler on today.

It seems to run mostly centered on the pulleys, much more than the old belt.

I'll keep an eye it.

Thanks for the help,

Greetings. The belt in my INA belt kit seems thinner than my Gates belt. Bought the kit for the rep of the rollers and pulley. INA belts any good? Time for a Conti.

I didn't know INA makes belts, they are a bearing company. It could be outsourced to another company, as they are German, most likely to another German company

Yeah, I was surprised to see INA making belts.

There is a rule of thumb when dealing with timing belt area, it does not matter if this is Volvo, Toyota, or Honda:
- Stick to the dealer stuff or the maker of the dealer stuff. In the Volvo case, Volvo OEM TB or Conti only.
Anything else is just headache for nothing. You may save $5-$10-$20 with aftermarket, but why?

- There are only 2 belt companies that I trust: Continental and Mitsuboshi (mostly for Japanese cars).

- When it comes the Volvo stuff, think about it...Volvo spent years trying to figure out what are the best mfgs. So I am not trying to second-guess Volvo.
In summary: TB ---> Continental only (serp belt Conti too!), pulleys ---> INA, hydraulic tensioner ---> Aisin, WP ---> Aisin. That is about it.

PS: Anything elese in the car, you can try aftermarket stuff (brake pads by Jurid, Akebono etc. etc., spark plugs by NGK etc. etc.), but when it comes to timing belt and water pump, stick to what is known to work based on thousands of posts in Volvo forums!!!

Greetings. Please tell me "Who you buying from ? ". My local dealer just quoted me $240 for belt kit. Belt alone is $79.00.

This INA belt compared to my used Gates belt feels like a vinyl seat cover . Hard and thin. Not like "Rich Corinthian Leather". Just threw that in for humor. Telling my age.

You can buy the idler pulley and tensioner from the dealer as mentioned above, or just shop around from this and subsequent pages (Conti belt alone is $25; be sure to not buy the off-branded parts!):

Search eeuroparts or rmeuropean dot com.

Google "Volvo 30758261" and see what you get. Just make sure this is the part number for your car.
Don't forget the Aisin WP if >180K miles.
