Well, I'm understanding more about email as we go on, and SPF isn't everything, which I'd been banking on.

You guys are probably not alone, and I'll be working on this in the next week.

(MSN's entire network was blocking MVS email, for instance. That's @msn.com, @outlook.com, @microsoft.com, @hotmail.com... all those. If you want to help, whitelist email from MVS in whatever email you use.)

I've whitelisted in Tbird, but honestly it's not Thunderbird that's the problem. I have the same version of Tbird back in August with this ISP that I have now, and all of a sudden no email alerts.

It's a crucial email sending setting you enter in a server's DNS records, but by far not the only crucial one.

I'm continuing to work on this. Now I've lost notifications

When I hit on the right thing, notifications will return. Until then, I'm trying this and that, not knowing where the problem is exactly.

Currently I'm getting these tests, but not everyday post notifications.

Received an email a few minutes ago. Subject test from MVS forums email HOWEVER, I received this email at my old email domain because I recently changed the email address on your site. I just now changed the email address back to the one with the problematic ISP. If you like please send me another test email, I'll be curious to see if it makes it through!!

Hi Matt,

A test email came through my current ISP to my current email address for the same ISP, on Jan 4th at 11:20am, not sure this means I will be getting topic reply notifications however.
