Which springs for a '99 T6

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Which springs for a '99 T6

Post by Its Broken »

Hi,

It's time to do the shocks and springs on my T6 but I am confused as to what spring to get. I have been looking at the Lesjofors. They are listed for S80 at FCPeuro but when you look at the Lesjofors catalog they are listed for every S80 model BUT the T6. Does the T6 use a lowered spring as standard?

Regards

Just curious as to why you want to replace the springs? Normally they last a lot longer than shocks.

Springs are just like humans. We all sag when we get old.

As its a '99 model the strut and spring code is 1T but i can only find part numbers for models after 2002 when the spring and shock codes became separate.

My '69 Mercedes is still riding on its original springs. Sure we sag, but how often should these springs be replaced, anyone?
