Ok ok...I'll get one of this silicone sets from fpd. The waiting time just kills me and I need to do smog very soon!

Stick to Silicone or OEM.

URO's parts have a terrible reputation for low quality, especially their rubber hoses. Never buy anything rubber that is sold by URO. Go ahead and install it because brand new it will not leak, but be happy if it lasts more than 6 months.

It's FCP LOL :D $21 for URO vs $70 for OEM makes URO look decidedly like they are the good guys. At least it's in a position that can be replaced easily......every six months :D

Personally I'd spring for the URO and see how it fares if I were on a tight budget. Recently a URO representative visited this forum and gave us assurances that their procedures and quality were now up to scratch as of well..... recently.

I agree with this, you already bought it. It is very easy to replace and won't cause any harm if it fails; maybe they have improved their quality.

I would never use them for something which could affect the life of an engine, ie: a coolant hose.

Yeah, I'll have a look at it when it finally arrives (got shipped today by Amazon) so it should be here tmw.
