850 // How to disconnect the fuel line?

Post by volvofornia »

All right, I'm half way through changing my PCV but I got stuck on how to replace the fuel line from the injector rail.

On other pics there are some nuts and bolts which connect the fuel line to the rail but in my case it's just one line going into the rail. So what to do now?

Any ideas?

There is no need to disconnect the fuel hose. Just undo the two T25 bolts, one on top of the engine and one on the back of the engine and move the rail with the injectors out of the way.

You're welcome.

I took the engine/trans out without disconnecting the fuel rail. :)
