If you go so far as figuring out and retrieving the correct Volvo part numbers and want the best price on them, hands down it will be from this dealer: http://volvopartslisle.com/

I think that's your actual engine serial number on that sticker, and engine type on the right B5244T2

Greetings. Just ordered a Conti belt from FCP. Thankfully, I had already got a Aisin WP . I'll just use the INA roller and tensioner from the kit and wear the belt around my neck like Mardi Gras beads. No bolts came with pump. I'll replace with new . Size M7X25 .

Aisin is OEM pump and easily and by far the best quality.

INA make an entire timing belt kit sold by Rexbo parts in Germany for about $70 euro......best value by far for us Aussies considering exchange rates. Yours is the earlier setup before 3188688 engine number.

Never heard of a Goodyear, Dayco, Gates or other brand of belt breaking/tearing when teamed up with new INA pulleys and tensioners.....but who would do this when it costs extra?? Your problem is an alignment one caused by either failing tensioner or idler.

Greetings. My problem was a low grade water pump sold in a kit labeled "Gates Belt Kit". Gates , Goodyear are brands my job uses. . I operate a city bus. The Gates belt still looked good , even after the WP bearing locked up. Could it just be bad "hard parts" and alignment ( over / under torque) causing so much pain and grief ?

Pretty hard to say what would make a belt fray like that but with a seized water pump pretty much any belt can tear depending on what happens at the bearing.

Greetings. Any tips for avoiding belt alignment problems ?. Torque specs for tensioner and pulley. Napa sells Conti belts for $52.
