Its the one just above the air con pipes waving in the wind, I can see no obvious point of breakaway in the area, any ideas anyone. I was wandering if it could be a reason for my brake problems, they will just suddenly go flat with no pressure at all, I had to use my hand brake a couple of times to actually stop!
It normally happens on very hot days and after I have been driving for a while not when engine is cold first thing in the morning. I have checked all wheel brake lines for fluid leakages as well as changing and bleading with new fluid twice and there are no obvious leeks or air locks and the level in the reservoir stays constant This has been happening for over a year now but only recently got worse, lucky I live on a very small island with few roads and cars but I really would like to fix it since I am planing on taking her over to the mainland in a couple of months. I am at the point now where I think she is due for the wreckers yard but just can't let her go, only done 300,000 K's and been a good friend for 15 years, you know what it's like, any ideas what this could be, thanks

On mine, a '94T5 that connector doesn't connect to anything but is located to the right of the master in between the VIN window and the screw holding doen the wiper/plenum plastic cover INSIDE the engine bay just near the metal lip that runs across.

I suspect that you're looking at the unused horn connector
the OEM security system that's not installed in that car.

I was thinking the same thing as BEJinFBK but the right hand drive picture has me a bit confused. Is there a circular horn mounted on the firewall near the center of the engine?

Thanks guys, I think you could have it Lee & BejinFbk, it turns out there was no fitted alarm when imported into Aus and the original owner did fit an am sytem which was a waste of time and I have since removed it and the horns are on the front Lee. So, I think I can safely assume this has nothing to do with my brake problem ?
I took her out for a long run this morning and tried several severe hard braking stops which were very good, not a sign of sponginess or pedal to the floor, but this is the way it goes some days. On other much hotter days it can go for a while quite normally and the suddenly fail, and this tends to happen more in city driving when I am riding the brake more for heavy traffic and lights etc.
So, as far as I can tell now', it's a good chance of being the MC, so I might just get stuck into that next. Has anyone ever tried just servicing the pistons on these, I notice an Ebay seller in the UK that sell the O rings for them.
I have added a couple photo's of the engine bay layout which might help someone spot something that don't look quite right (the black & red leads hanging just to the right of the top engine mount are dead and are just connected to run the winch when I take out the boat)
