My '72 ES runs great for about an hour, then the fuel pump starts whining and it loses power. Clogged tank outlet? It sat 6 years without being run.
Thanks,
Ken

If it's like my 73 ES, you can't remove the fuel pickup without cutting the tank open. Also, it's hard to clean the tank out due to the baffles inside. Try loosening the gas cap and blowing air backwards into the tank through the pickup tube. That will often break any crud lose that might be restricting the screen.
