If TCM somehow lost adaptations then a harsh 1-2 shift can result. I agree with sw doing nothing to solve this one.

A forced drive cycle Adaptation however may help. This is done by a dealer on a specific drive cycle or you can DIY it if you have a specific (updated) TCM firmware and a Vida/Dice.

If the indie wants a TCM update because the firmware is so old you can't enter into an adaptation cycle then you WILL need an update.

thats the issues I'm having with mine is shift flares between 1 and 2 shift after it warms up. The fluid is pretty dark so I'm planning on drain and refill, then add some seafoam transtune, then drain and refill again. I also plan on getting the sw update and doing the adaptive procedure. I'm hoping it will solve the issue.
