No power to one of the low beam

Post by Emil »

Evening,

I have no current to my passenger side low beam (driver side is ok.). I read in one thread that there is a "right" and "left" fuse but according to fuse chart that doesn't appear to be correct, unless I am missing something. In any event, all fuses in the engine bay are ok. So rather than tearing the front apart to get the light out and maybe, maybe not, finding the wire problem, would it be ok to tie into the other low beam wire? If I do, would I be overloading that wire, now feeding both lights with it?

Thanks,
Emil

Now I feel stupid... Didn't realize there is a fuse for Left and Right, separate, in the inside panel. So now all is good.

For forks sake .... friend's S60 had left headlight out and she had bulb replaced (was actually blown) and still no light. I had a look and no power to it.

Thanks for the pointer :)
