No dash lights,heater,and sun roof

Hi everyone! I have a 1998 Volvo s70 non turbo, auto with 248K miles on the clock, was smelling some odor( thought it was an fluid from the engine) driving home from work and noticed that I lost the dash lights. Got home and started to check the other switches and also lost all the ecc controls, and sunroof. I checked the fuses in both fuse boxes and they are all fine. Changed the ignition switch with no results. Got underneath the dash and took out panel and knee bolster and that's where I am now. Have a wiring diagram out Haynes but cannot make heads or tails out of it. Any thoughts Thanks

The Haynes schematics are pretty microscopic. You can get the schematics from here:

There are several versions for the '98 and grab them all since there are missing pages. They are also a pain since they are not properly paginated due to the way they were scanned but if you look hard enough, between all of them, you can usually find what you need. The '99 is very different but for the areas that you are looking at they are very similar.

If you have an aftermarket stereo or some other aftermarket things like a remote start were added that is alway a good place to start looking for problems.

Hi Every one! Hi Lee, The wiring diagram is somewhat helpful and i believe there is some pages missing like you said, and those are the ones I need !I keep popping fuses # 35 and all the others are fine . Any thoughts?

Btw, Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the abs and the sunroof diagrams? Thanks
