Counterfeit o2 sensor ?

I bought a Bosch 15097 for my 850 from Amazon- came in a nice Bosch box but the connector won't fit and there is no part number marked on the sensor itself, is it a fake ?

Nothing is stamped on the sensor....brand,numbers?
The sensor you got have 0 258 005 0974 instead of 0 258 005 097

It have extra number and don't match to oem number.

It's a fake!

That's what I thought, nothing stamped on sensor- the box didn't look too good but it was from Amazon not another supplier

Original sensors have marks and numbers on it.Brand name and part number along with some other marks and numbers.
Yours have one extra number at the end...no.4.
100% fake.

It may have been supplied by Amazon as a service however there was a supplier such as Car Part Kings or AIP Electronics. Please name the supplier or was it through Prime?

This way we can all avoid the seller and make them hurt where it matters; in the hip pocket!!

Could have been "bait and switch".
Some people buy the OEM part and also buy the "junk" part.
Then install the goody but throw the junky in the box and return it.
Very unethitical practice but it is still going on...
