shutter during acceleration

I'm beginning to wonder if it is the dam coil again I have replaced 2 in the last couple of years granted they were cheap ones of eBay.

What kind of coil is in there? Just get one from a junkyard and swap it in, even with this age they almost never fail.

I put new plugs,wires,cap etc in last year she is bringing it back to me today once i drive it i will have a better idea.

That's a junk part, it could definitely be the problem. For comparison, the Bosch coil (what the car shipped with) is $122 at FCP. On these cars, it is a bad idea to skimp on ignition parts.

I understand you may not want to pay that kind of $$ for a coil; I would not hesitate for a second to go with a junkyard one.

Yeah I already got caught out on faultfinding a '96 850R with one of those bastxxx coils. Once swapped with a good used Bosch one it sprang back to life

Got it back this evening hooked up the code reader got my usual large evaporative leak still trying to run that down I did buy a smoke machine but also got a random misfire code on cylinder 4 I know I replace plugs wires cap the works so i am hoping it just came loose.She replaced a tire on it which has thrown the balance off causing some vibration this AWD has always been cranky in that respect.

Mine is doing that as well. Passenger side driveshaft bearing.

I have the car back pulled a misfire on number 2 and number 4 cylinders weird it ran fine the like crap for a min or two the fine again set the check engine off immediately. I changed everything last year but that doesn't mean one or two went bad already.
