Back in a Volvo!

Hello All,

I've been on here for several years but have been quiet since I totaled my '96 850 a little over two years ago. A little black ice at about 50mph and that's all she wrote. Luckily, no passenger with me. I walked out with a few cuts on my fingers, and bruises. The other party also suffered minor injuries. I'm glad we all fared out well.

Anyhow, I recently bought a '95 940 with about 148k for $500. It mostly needs tires and a windshield (already replaced). Here's her bad side where the previous owner side swiped a guard (guide?) rail when it was snowing. Hopefully I can find the little trim pieces for her to make it look a bit better.

Hopefully I can have her on the road within a few weeks. Needs a few other minor things fixed. Horn doesn't work and I haven't had a chance to test if it's the buttons (likely is based on what I've read) or if the horn itself is done for. The passenger rear door handle is broken, but I have a replacement. And the locking mechanism on the driver's rear door is screwy. One time it'll unlock and the next it won't. Gonna hopefully work on these things this weekend when it should be in the mid 40's here in Northwestern PA.
