1997 960 - AT Shifter alignment tool

While researching the P0705 code, one volvo tech on a site called answers.com indicated that to properly set the PNP switch on an AT like my 1997 960, you must use an alignment tool, or you will get new codes.

Anyone know anything about this?

Anyone got a tool, home made or otherwise?

Anyone know the name of this Volvo special tool, what it costs, can it be rented, etc.

OR: Is it even necessary?

Thanks for the info and notification. Would also like to see what this alignment tool looks like. Didn't find it in the write up anywhere, what does it look like?
The write-up's author said "...including the alignment tool which I make below..." and I couldn't find anywhere.
