A bad check valve in the fuel pump can also cause hard starting. The way to test it is to put a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail and watch it after you turn the car off. If it quickly drops to zero the check valve is bad.

@Ozark lee.... I did perform the fuel pump leak down test. Left it pressurized at for over an hour and lost just a couple psi So I think its good Mid 40s.
