Ambient air temp

Just took this info out of vida dice
Will check with meter soon, question if anyone knows, why does my 2004, late year c70 hpt have 2 sensors, rt and lft
one affects interior temp reading, the other is same and cannot find it anywhere, any ideas?
Gauge goes to 3 dashes when left one is removed, swapped them, temp still wrong

Component Remarks
Outside temperature sensor

Resistance:
4 °C: approximately 1.2 kΩ
20 °C: approximately 500 Ω

Coolant temperature sensor Resistance:
10 °C: approximately 20 kΩ
20 °C: approximately 11 kΩ
30°C: approximately 8 kΩ
75 °C: approximately 1.5 kΩ
90 °C: approximately 900 Ω

Combustion fan Resistance in the winding between terminals: 1-10 Ω

Water pump Resistance in the winding between terminals: 1-10 Ω

Fuel pump (FP) Resistance in the winding between terminals: approximately 8 Ω

Glow plug Resistance: approximately 1 Ω

overheat protection thermostat Resistance:

Not tripped < 3 Ω

Tripped 10 kΩ

Note: You posted your Q in the forum for model years 1992-2000. You ID'd your car as a 2004.

He's in the right place - C70's are P80 cars until 2005.

OP - One is for the dash cluster display, the other sends to the ECU for engine management.
