Parking Lights 2001 S-80

Here's a question for you guys and gals.
2001 S-80 Parking Lights (USA version).

Do the amber lights next to the high beams illuminate when the light switch is turned to the Parking Light position or are the tail parking lights the only ones that are supposed to come on?

Both bulbs are fine - they work as signals and flashers so the bulbs are good - also checked the fuses and all are OK. Every other light on the vehicle works properly as well.
I can't remember if those amber lights are supposed to be on when in the parking light position or not and found nothing in the Owners Manual.
I have not pulled the bulbs from the sockets yet. Didn't want to unnecessarily risk breaking the housing mounting tabs unless I had to.
Also getting 2 different lamp numbers for the parking lights - one number is dual filament and the other is single filament - can someone confirm the correct lamp number please.

when i turn the dial to the middle position with the green light, the bulbs that are like diagonal in the headlight assembly come on on my s80.
