In Alberta province where I live, they now have a 3 point demerit on your licence for distracted driving and a fine. Still see people on the phone or texting. It is hard to fix dumb.

Well the damage of course exceeded the value, however the value was reasonable.

The salvage value is $166, should I buy it back? Hmmmm.

Here is the rear suspension rack from the parts car, with fresh delta links (thanks JDS60R and MVS for the tool!). Tomorrow I replace the brake hoses then Monday I deliver it to the body shop. Transplant and alignment next week.

: Dropped it all as a unit, made the delta link work relatively easy with the nice JD tool.

That tool's a keeper, eh, Erik? I used it recently and don't know how you could get the job done without it and a plumbing torch.

Agreed Evan, the tool is a brute!

Especially when the trailing arms are out of the car like this, the tool just makes the job child's play, even when one of the links starts falling to pieces during extraction. If I had the time I would hang on to it for another week and do the V70 and the R, too. They will have to wait ...

I hope the ProParts Sweden end links hold up, we'll have to wait a couple years to know.
