1996 850R Cruise Control

Post by wackenhut »

I recently brought my car in to replace the abs module and also asked if the cruise control could be checked since it was not working. As it turned out, I guess it was disconnected at the pedal and i believe another place. Does anyone know of any issues that someone would disconnect the cruise control on this vehicle? I don't use it, but figured why not have it working.

Thanks!

The cruise is very good about turning itself off at the slightest hint of a problem so I don't have a good answer for why it might be disconnected. The only explanation might be that something else in the area, like the heater core, was being worked on and they just didn't finish hooking it back up. It is a bit counterintuitive how that bracket mounts up.
