S60 Parking Light Bulb

Post by KPM171 »

Does anyone know the specs on the bulb (see pic below) and can suggest a good way to get to it short of removing the entire head light assembly? I can get the wiring harnesses out of the way and remove the dust cap, but the CPU box sits right behind blocking all access.

Vehicle - 2007 Volvo s60 2.5T, FWD.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Pop the CPU box out to get access. You do not have to remove the e/TCU, just remove the case

It's really tight with P2s, which is why you get that beautiful hood line and. Drive visibility

Thanks abscate, I'll give that a shot. Do you happen to know the specs on that bulb so I can have it on hand in the garage when I pull the CPU box?

Welcome to the forums!

This should help you ID the bulb:

(See Page 207 in Specifications)

Let's hope you have small hands and thin fingers... (Our cars seem to have been built around any given part that requires service)
Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.

I had a horrible time getting out a P2 bulb ..wrote a thread about it. It had an extra piece of metal flash that I had to trim off

After a job like that my hands would usually feel too sore to write...
