V50 wagon body kit

My wife is negotiating the purchase of an '05 V50 wagon. As part of the deal, the dealership was going to purchase a body kit, paint it and install it. They sent us a picture of the kit they purchased and it showed a Heico kit with dark grey side skirts instead of being body color. We wanted the other Volvo kit that is shown in the V50 brochures that is more streamlined.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Who makes the "factory" Volvo kit?
Are there any modifications that need to be done to mount an aftermarket kit? (the kit has already been mounted prior to paint) I am just curious as I had never heard of a dealership purchasing aftermarket parts.
