Replacing Front Shocks & Struts -- parts needed

Post by jonrwarren »

NEWBIE here, please forgive my stupid questions. Replacing front shocks and struts on my 2008 Volvo S60 (a mechanic friend who owns Volvos is doing the work, I must supply the parts). I found a set on Amazon, 1910 - SENSEN Shocks Struts, Full Set, 4 Pieces, Lifetime Warranty. My question is, what other parts would I need to do this job? I don't want to hand over the parts only to be told later, "Well, you did get such and such, I need them before I can do the job"! Can we re-use strut mounts and bushing, or must these be replaced as well? What other parts are needed to do the job? THANKS in advance for any help.

not sensen.

and there's a bajillion threads on this, but you'll probably need bearing plates and strut mount bushings. LCA bushings are likely wasted.
I'd probably do the inner and outer tie rod ends since you're paying for labor and alignment anyway.
have a look at the pile of parts in FCP's kit
