Codes now are p0016 and p0234

First one is cam/crank mismatch

Second one is an overboost condition

Both of these can be tripped by rough running. I would get that PVC unplugged, check/replace plugs, clear codes and see what comes back and when

Replaced pcv but that is when 16 and 234 came about after. The Mechanic saidmhe was concerned the cam position was not correct after he replaced the cam seal but he didnt hve the special tool to adjust it. Would the not quite right timimg cause the over pressure issue on the turbo since rough running? I am going to put in new plugs. Wonder also if need to check new pcv to see if more sludge present.

Yes, all of that but wondering if the CCVT wasn't preloaded. When you pull of a timing belt on one of these cars, you have to go 90 degrees past the timing marks on the cams and then back again to the timing marks, take off the belt, put it back on, making sure the CCVT gear doesn't move and then adjust/tighten the tensioner. If that was not done, then the CCVT could be off and give you the message that you're getting.
