Battery Drain Fuel injection

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Battery Drain Fuel injection

Post by manitouboat »

2007 S80 3.2 V6 Front wheel drive
I have isolated the drain down to the #37 fuse, fuel injection fuse under hood.
I have to listen real close in engine compartment hear a faint high pitched whine after turning engine off, until I pull the #37 fuse.
Battery dies after 24 hour of sitting without pulling fuse. Can sit for days and not die if the fuse is pulled.
Any ideas?

Are you sure it is #37? That shows on wiring diagram to be MAF and the injectors only. Injectors buzzing would flood engine, maybe even hydrolock it if you attempt cranking. MAF sensor wouldn't make noise.
