1999 S70 P0751 & P0605 Code help

What was the original problem - beyond a dead battery? How does the car behave now as you try to drive it and how did it drive before the battery jump?

If it were me I would try to "reboot the system" by pulling off the negative battery cable for 30 minutes or so if you have no other symptoms but the CEL. The car will need to re-learn everything but I think it may have had bad classmates and learned bad things after the battery jump.

It can't really hurt anything to try and it costs nothing.

It drive like it is in winter mode (starts off in third gear)

It drove like new before the battery died and I already tried taking the battery off for a long time and also resetting the codes but nothing so far has worked.

PO605 REFERS TO A ROM PROBLEM AND MOST OF THE TIME IT IS THE TCM. I JUST JOINED THIS TODAY IF YOUR AT IPD SAY HELLO TO STU FOR ME. THANKS LARRY

I had a similar problem. Battery died and when I jump started it I got the flashing red arrow. Tech at the indy shop finally found out today that the cable connected to the positive terminal of the battery was shorted. He will swap a new one in tomorrow and let me know if it fixes the problem.
