I sourced some replacements for mine, OEM from a junk yard on Vancouver Island (still not cheap), but after an afternoon of hog ringing and ziptieing for each seat I was pretty pleased! Way better than buying universal seat covers.

Thanks. They would be a great option but I'm such a DIY guy I don't have time for another project. I just want to pull on the covers and be done with it, even though I realize nice ones will probably take a few hours to install. My seat covers could easily be repaired for free on a sewing machine if I had the time to remove them and put them back on.

They've been pretty good. They're about 10 months old right now. We haven't cleaned them yet. (I should get to it one of these days.) But it is loads better than the usual "exploded-cushion" look of most of our cars. I just installed it over the ripped seats and they feel great. I'll run outside and take a picture and post it up so you can see if they're what you're looking for.

edit: our Greek car seats, 10 months old

Those are nice especially for the price. Is that picture taken after 10 months of wear or right after they were installed? Based on your comments it sounds like the photo is after 10 months of use. The only downside to those for me would be the extreme heat we get here. Vinyl gets hot enough to burn your skin in the summertime after sitting in a parkinglot all day.

I've done both the Elwood Industries covers and the Greek ebay covers. If you're on a budget, the Greek covers are just fine. Reasonable quality and good value for the money. That's the way I'd go for a quasi-beater. That having been said, the quality of the Elwood ones is outstanding, but reflected in the price.

The greek ones look good enough for my taste but vinyl seats don't work well in the South. They will literally burn you on a hot day. The elwoods are more than I want to spend and it wouldn't make sense to me to put leather in the front and leave the back the cloth original, especially when spending that much money.

I found these ... they look pretty nice and seem to be good quality.

They're a little expensive but not too bad. My theory on seat covers is they will always look like seat covers, so own it and go with something that doesn't try to pass itself off as the original. If those wetokole's came in a tie dyed theme I would have already ordered them. I sort of like the camo, but it doesn't blend well with my navy blue car - they have a blue camo but it doesn't appeal to me.

Yeah, I've got to something about the front seats in my 96 850. The drivers seat is in horrible shape, 2-3 tears and more waiting to happen.

I just wonder can a guy remove the existing seat covers and replace with the wetokole covers or do the wetokole cover only go over existing seat covers?

I think they will go over an existing seat if they aren't too torn up. I didn't check on that, though. Its definitely something to check on before ordering.
