V50 2007 Throttle Pedal/Sensor Unit

I have 2007 V50 2.0D and wanted to know if anyone knows how to reset fault codes without Diagnostic tool,
I just had to replace throttle pedal and sensor and need to get car out of limp mode. Many Thanks

You'll probably need a specific reset tool for that... DICE unit with VIDA will probably do it if you know anyone who has one. Otherwise, it's most likely off to the dealer for you. The other option is to just drive it and it may go away...or disconnect the battery for 10-15 minutes and re-attach and that may do it, but there is a way to do this right so you don't want to screw that up. I'm not sure if others will chime in or not, but on earlier cars, you have to have the key in position II when you reattach the battery. Not sure on our models- I have a '07 S40 but it's new to me and I haven't had to do any of this yet.

Okay- I just confirmed on another forum...when you disconnect the battery, have the key at 0 or pulled out...then wait 10 minutes and when you reconnect the battery, reconnect the negative/ground first (key already in and in position II but not III)...hope that clears things for you!!
